Happy Thanksgiving!

I decided to go with my usual dish for Thanksgiving.  Roasted Vegetables.  (Beets, sweet potatoes, onions, brussels sprouts, and asparagus)  Even if I am the only one choosing this side dish at our feast today, it is definitely worth making it so there is a healthy option!

Did you know the average amount of calories consumed by American’s on Thanksgiving is 3,000!!!!  That is more than most people should be consuming in one day!  So if you can, try to get some sort of excercise in this morning (or tomorrow while your shopping!), practice portion control, and listen to your body.  (Am I really hungry?)  Or, if you do decide to totally indulge, get back to your usual habits tomorrow!

Well, I am off on a longgg drive to longgg island!  Have a happy, healthy, safe, and wonderful Thanksgiving!
